Harbour Museum Rotterdam
The Harbour Museum has merged with the Maritime Museum. For updated information please check our page about Maritime Museum Rotterdam.
Of course the largest port of Europe can’t do without it’s own Harbour Museum. The largest open-air museum of the Netherlands is located in Rotterdam: the Harbour Museum Rotterdam! Nowadays most port operations have been relocated out of the city centre into the Maasvlakte area (direction Hoek van Holland). The Harbour Museum brings this historic port atmosphere back into the Leuvehaven harbour at Rotterdam city centre. The Harbour Museum provides you an overview of the history of the Port of Rotterdam between 1850 and 1970.
