Keukenhof Lisse
The Keukenhof is the world largest flower garden with seven million flower bulbs planted anually! It's one of the most famous attractions of the Netherlands. In the Keukenhof garden you can see beautiful flowers like Crocus, daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, lilies and many other spring bulbs. You will feel lovely when experiencing the breathtaking colours and delightful smells of the surrounding flowers!
You can walk through the park using strategically laid out paths which will take you to spectacular flower displays, themed gardens, shady tree-lined lanes and hothouses. On your way you will enjoy unique flower shows and striking works of art in the pavilions. Children can enjoy a treasure trail through the park so they will have fun as well!
Besidess a huge garden De Keukenhof contains a sculpture park as well, the biggest sculpture garden in the Netherlands in fact! You can see about 150 sculptures in the park created by artists from the Netherlands and abroad.
You need to plan your visit to De Keukenhof carefully because the garden is only open a few months each year. Don't forget to bring your camera and buy some flower bulbs to bring home!

These are the rates for the Keukenhof:
Children under 4 Free Ages 4 through 11 € 6.50 Ages 12 through 64 € 13.50 Age 65 and above € 13,00 If you come by car you have to pay a fee of € 6,00 to park your car close to the park.
DIRECTIONS Keukenhof Lisse
Keukenhof is located at the Stationsweg 166a in Lisse, 60 km north of Rotterdam. You can easily get there by taking the train from Rotterdam Central Station to Leiden. At Leiden station you can take 54 to Keukenhof.
If you come by car you have to take highway A13 with direction Den Haag. Close to The Hague you will take highway A4 (directions Amsterdam). At the A4 take exit 4 and follow main road N207 towards Lisse. In Lisse, you have to follow the signs to Keukenhof. You can park in front of the park at a fee of € 6,00.
