Vapiano Vapiano is an informal Italian restaurant after a very successful German concept. In Germany, you find this restaurant chain in nearly every major city and this ‘virus’ is spreading rapidly across Europe. After Amsterdam and The Hague, next on the list is Rotterdam.

At Vapiano, which means ‘go slow’, there is a self service counter and every meal you order is made freshly in the open kitchen right in front of you. Upon entering Vapiano you receive a sort of magnet card, on which your pizza, pasta or salad is credited by the cook or bar keeper. After dinner don’t forget the coffee bar and at the end of the evening you can hand over the magnet card to the cashier and pay.

Vapiano is spacious and there are big bar tables so you can easily get to know with other people. Due to their fresh quality, the good prices and the casual atmosphere, Vapiano is a new and big Italian competitor for other established restaurants in Rotterdam.

Heerlijk gegeten, verse ingredienten vriendelijke gast vrouwen, wordt gezellig praatje met je gemaakt door de kok terwijl hij staat te koken. Zelf kun je kiezen of je wat meer of minder van een bepaald ingredient wilt. , En de Fragola is heerlijk.

Het concept is goed, de prijzen scherp en de schotels lekker. Het enige nadeel is de lange wachttijd. Je kunt bij binnekomst bepalen of je het de moeite van het wachten waard vindt, mijn ervaring is dat elk gerecht in 7 minuten bereid wordt, dan kan ... read more »

Het eten is zeer goed! Vooral voor deze prijzen. Ook leuk om gewoon wat te gaan drinken/borrelen. Goed concept om even snel wat te eten. In de zomer is een airco binnen misschien wel handig, want was flink warm!

Het eten is er erg goed! Zeker als je het met de prijs vergelijkt. Daarin tegen als je een uur in de rij moet staan voor een bordje pasta vervolgens ook nog 35 min moet wachten op je pizza viel het wel erg tegen! Dat je 3uur lang in een luxe restaur... read more »
