An ice rink in the heart of Rotterdam
In February, young skate enthousiasts will have a good time at the indoor ice rink in Rotterdam. In the past, the so called 'Winter Square' was created in the South-West of Rotterdam, but this year the former Post Office at Coolsingel is hosting this sporty fun park. Although the ice rink is temporary, it is indoors and has full options. The restaurant area offers traditional Dutch winter specialties like pea-soup or have a hot chocolate with whipped cream to warm up after skating. In the pancake booth be sure to try ‘Poffertjes’. From the heated catering section, parents can monitor their children.

There are several sports activities specially tailored to specific groups of skaters. Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm  till 10 pm are dedicated to party kids at the Ice Disco, whereas Wednesday afternoon the ice rink is for younger school kids only. On appointment, the ice rink can be rented by curling fans.
