Big indoor folk music concert in Rotterdam on April 29
The Night of Orange (Nacht van Oranje) is a annual Dutch festival on the night before Queen’s Day in Rotterdam; it is unprecedented in the Netherlands! All visitors dress up in Orange, the national colour of the Netherlands when it comes to celebrations. This concert takes place in the multifunction center Ahoy in the South of Rotterdam and it's more or less a warm up for other festivals on the Queen's Day after.

What performances can you expect at Night of Orange
You might not be familiar with the music style, as most of the songs are in Dutch, but for sure you have never seen such a large orange madness, well maybe only during the Soccer World Cup... Famous Dutch folk singers like Frans Duijts, Lee Towers, Nick & Simon and Wolter Kroes perform here. They will rock the place for sure! The Ahoy concert hall was recently renovated and has thus gained an increased seat capacity.

Night of Orange is an annual concert. The 20th edition takes place in the Ahoy Multifunctional Center (South of Rotterdam) on Sunday 29 April 2012, at 7:30 pm till 0:10 am at night.

These are the ticket prices for the Night of Orange in Rotterdam:

Tickets can be purchased on weekdays from 9am till 4pm at the Ahoy ticket office, by telephone on 0900 235 2469 (€0,45 per minute, from the Netherlands only) or call Ticket Service Nederland 0900 300 1250 (€0,45 per minute, from the Netherlands only). Online tickets are available via www.ticketmaster.nl. Tickets are subject to a minor ticket reservation fee.

Night of Orange Rotterdam by public transport
The Night of Orange is held in Rotterdam's multifunctional centre Ahoy in the South of Rotterdam, near the Zuidplein Mall. You can easily reach Ahoy Rotterdam by Metro or Bus, stop Zuidplein. Plan your trip with the public transport planning site www.9292.nl. It's free of charge. To travel by public transport in Rotterdam you must purchase a travel chip card first.

Night of Orange Rotterdam by car
If you come by car, follow directions to Ahoy on the Ring Motorway (A15 South - exit Zuidplein/Ahoy). You can pay to park your car in front of Ahoy; a lot of parking spots are available here. When travelling to Ahoy, you might encounter some traffic nuisance, especially at major events! Parking at Ahoy costs €11,00. If this parking lot is full, you can pay to park in the Zuidplein Mall garage. From there it’s a 5 minute walk to Ahoy.
