The International Doll and Teddybear fair in Rotterdam is the largest event in this area in the world and has been organized for decades. It is needless to say that this show is a paradise for collectors of antique and new dolls and bears!

Real-life baby dolls
You willl find ready-made dolls and bears at the international doll and bear fair . Think about whimsical fantasy characters, cheerful creations gourds, replica dolls, dolls and real-life baby dolls, which are very popular. But you can also find antique dolls at this exhibition ranging from expensive dolls for the avid collector to inexpensive dolls. There is clothing for the dolls for sale as well!

Teddy Bears making
But in addition to ready-made bears and dolls, the fair offers all you need to make your own bears and dolls. For example, there's a variety of mohair available, as well as demonstrations, patterns, books and magazines about making dolls and bears.

Doll Doctors
If you have a doll or a bear that is broken, you can visit the doll doctors at the fair. They can repair anything, whether it is a plastic or antique doll and they can repair teddy bears as well.

International Doll and Bear Fair Rotterdam by public transport
The International Doll and Bear Fair is held in Rotterdam's multifunctional centre Ahoy in the South of Rotterdam, near the Zuidplein Mall. You can easily reach Ahoy Rotterdam by Metro or Bus, stop Zuidplein. Plan your trip with the public transport planning site www.9292.nl. It's free of charge. To travel by public transport in Rotterdam you must purchase a travel chip card first.

International Doll and Bear Fair Rotterdam by car
If you come by car, follow directions to Ahoy on the Ring Motorway (A15 South - exit Zuidplein/Ahoy). You can pay to park your car in front of Ahoy; a lot of parking spots are available here. When travelling to Ahoy, you might encounter some traffic nuisance, especially at major events! Parking at Ahoy costs €11,00. If this parking lot is full, you can pay to park in the Zuidplein Mall garage. From there it’s a 5 minute walk to Ahoy.

The international Doll and Teddybear Fair in Ahoy Rotterdam is scheduled for October 2012.
