Parade Rotterdam
The Parade is a travelling theatre festival with music, literature, dance, film, visual arts and great food & drinks! The festival travels from city to city in the Netherlands and can be visiited during a number of days. Every day there are many different acts varying from 3 till 40 minutes. You can see magiciens, dancers, pop musicians, buoys kings, films and many other artists. You will have fun all day long because The Parade starts in the afternoon and ends late in the evening.
There's a special programme with theatre, film, music and dance for children that starts every day at 15:00 hrs. Children can also enjoy tinkering, have a ride in the merry-go-round or bake the traditionla Dutch 'poffertjes'
You are not allowed to take your own food or drinks to The Parade, but there's not really a need to either. There are many stands and restaurants where you enjoy lots of things varying from small snacks to complete dinners. You can try food from all over the world, like Japan, Portugal, New Orleans, Italy Mexico and other places.
You have to buy tickets for some of the acts at De Parade and you can order them in advance on the website of The Parade. Tickets are sold at the festival location as well.
DIRECTIONS Parade Rotterdam
The Parade is held in the Museumpark close to the NAI. You can easily get there by taking the metro to Eendrachtsplein, tram 7 to Museumpark or tram 4 to Eendrachtsplein.
If you come by car you can park your car in the streets close to the Museumpark but you will have to pay!

The Parade is a yearly event that usually takes placeat several days in June.
