The Bridge Run is one of the famous running events in Rotterdam besides the Rotterdam Marathon and the Ladiesrun. The 15 km track of the Bridge Run goes across the major bridges in Rotterdam. The special thing about the Bridge Run are the festive Christmas decorations along the route. You don't have to run the Bridge Run in Rotterdam on your own, because you can join the Business Run together with colleagues and business associates.
Run the Erasmus Bridge
The start and finish area of the Bridge Run are located just in front of the Feyenoord Stadium (De Kuip). The route of the Rotterdam Bridge Run goes across six different bridges in Rotterdam, including the stunning Erasmus Bridge and the Van Brienenoordbrug. After the start the track leads via Olympiaweg and crosses the Lodewijk Pincoffsbrug and the Spoorweghavenbrug in direction of Wilhelminaplein to cross the Erasmus Bridge and the New Leuvebrug Bridge. The route continues towards the Extended Willemsbrug Bridge and the Boerengat Bridge to the Maasboulevard Avenue. The runners return to the South of Rotterdam across the Van Brienenoord Bridge.

After having supported your favourite runner at the Bridge Run you could go Christmas shopping in Rotterdam city centre, where all shops are open on Sunday. At the Rotterdam Bridge Run finish there will be a Winter Plaza as well.

Both start and finish of the Bridge Run in Rotterdam take place in front of the Feyenoord soccer stadium in the South of Rotterdam. Via Laan van Zuid the runners cross the Erasmus Bridge and turn right to Boompjes. The runners continue via Maasboulevard along the river Maas and Toepad to cross the Van Brienenoord Bridge. After returning in the South of Rotterdam the runners proceed via Sportlaan and Olympiaweg back to the Feyenoord stadium. Spectators an cheer at their favourite runner anywhere along this route.

You can reach the Feyenoord stadium Rotterdam by tram line 23, stop Zuidplein. Plan your trip with the public transport planning site www.9292.nl. It's free of charge. To travel by public transport in Rotterdam you must purchase a travel chip card first.
Parking at Bridge Run Rotterdam
Free parking space is available at Olympiaweg, Koperslagerstraat (Gamma), Jan Linsenstraat and at Stadionweg Beneden (Vervat). If it's too busy you can pay to park your car at cinema Pathé De Kuip; a lot of parking spots are available there. You might encounter some traffic nuisance, especially at major events!
