World Port Tournament Rotterdam (WPT)
The World Port Tournament is an international baseball tournament between some of the best baseball teams in the world! Five teams play each other two times in a group during the tournament. The nummers 1 and 2 of the group play each other in the final to become the winner of the tournament! There are many awards for the individual players to win as well like awards for the best pitcher, best hitter, homerun king, Most Valuable Player, Most Popular Player, Best rookie and the Press Award.
The tournament has been organized since 1985 and some of the best teams in the world have tried to win this tournament like the Dutch national team, Taiwan, Canada, Italy, Baltimore, Kobe, Dallas, Osaka, San Diego, Tapei, Taiwan, Japan and the USA. The very strong Cuban team has won the last three editions of the tournament.
There are two games every day, except for the last day when only the final is played. You can buy day tickets at the sales offices in the stadium or online at the word port tournament website. You can also buy a tournament ticket that gives you the opportunity to see all games of the tournament!

DIRECTIONS World Port Tournament Rotterdam (WPT)
The World Port Tournament is held in the Neptunus Family Stadion at the Abraham van Stolkweg 31 in Rotterdam, just outside the city center. The stadium can be easily reached with bus 38 from Rotterdam Central Station or with bus 32 from Schiedam and the Blaak station.
If you come by car you have to take exit 'Rotterdam-Centrum / Diergaarde Blijdorp' at the ring road (A20 North). There's enough free parking space close to the stadium.

The World Port Tournament is organized every two years during the summer. The tournament takes 11 days where all teams play each other. The best two teams will play each other in the final at a Sunday.
