Pathé De Kuip Rotterdam
Pathe De Kuip is a fourteen-screen cinema in the south of Rotterdam and one of the biggest and best visited cinemas of the Netherlands. The cinema is very popular because of it’s location that allows easy access by public transport and car. Just outside the cinema there are a number of restaurants and bars where you can have a drink or something to eat before or after the movie.Within the cinema there are fourteen screens varying from small screens with 120 seats to big screens with more than 400 seats. The big advantage of the large number of screens is that almost every ten minutes there’s another movie starting. For most movies there’s a numbered seating which means the best seats are sold first. For some movies there’s a free seating.
Like the other Pathe cinema in city center the cinema shows all popular movies so you don’t have to miss the latest movies coming straight from Hollywood and other places. On Tuesdays you can enjoy a sneak preview, which gives you the chance to see a movie before it’s broadly released. All movies from abroad are shown in their original language with subtitles so there's no need to learn Dutch for tourists!
All movies are shown without breaks so you might want to buy some drinks and popcorn before the movie starts. There’s a self-service shop inside the cinema where you can buy all kinds of things like candy, potato chips, popcorn, drinks, ice creams and other snacks. Just take anything you like and pay at the counter!
Tickets can be bought at the online and at the sales offices at the cinema. When you but the tickets online you get a discount and there also special discounts on Tuesdays and mornings. The cinema gets very crowded during weekends, so you need you need to buy your tickets in advance or make a reservation to make sure that you’ve got a seat!

Pathé De Kuip is located in the South of Rotterdam at the Cor Kieboomplein 501 next to the Feyenoord stadium. You can easily reach Pathé De Kuip by taking tram 23 or bus 157.
If you come by car you can park your car in front of the cinema or in one of the streets but it might be difficult to find a free spot even though there's a lot of parking space. And be careful: police men are doing a lot of controls especially during the busy weekends! There are many free parking spots in front of the Feyenoord stadium which is a short walk from the cinema.
