The building New Orleans at the Wilheminapier is de tallest residential tower in the Netherlands with a height of 160 meters. It's just a little lower than the Maas Tower (165 meters), but taller than the Montevideo residential tower that is located next to New Orleans.

New Orleans has been designed by the Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza and has got 45 floors containing apartments, offices and an underground parking for residents. In addition there's a private health club with a pool, a gym and a sauna. The health club is located on the fourth floor and spoils its residents with a beautiful sun deck. At the ground floor you can find the movie theatre LantarenVenster with five small screens, a smalll theatre and a restaurant.

The New Orleans residents can book one of the guest rooms located in the tower. These guest rooms are fully equipped luxury apartments with a kitchen and bathroom. The residents' guests can enjoy their own privacy using these guest rooms when they stay over. Too bad for outsiders: these guest rooms can only be booked by the New Orleans residents!
