Great extended range of products
Like all of the Media Markt stores, the shops of the Media Markt in Rotterdam are huge and come with a wide range of products. You can find everything to do with electronics in the Media Markt stores: televisions, DVD and Bluray players, audio, computers, game consoles, games, music, photos and video, telephones, navigation, washers, dryers, refrigerators, freezers. vacuum cleaners, small appliances and much more. The electronics is displayed over multiple floors and you can easily spend hours in this store. And one of the best things about Media Markt is that they've got late shopping night every night!

Multiple Media Markt stores in Rotterdam
Of course there is a Media Markt store located in the heart of Rotterdam, but there's a Media Markt store located at the Alexandrium shopping mal as well. There's no Media Markt located at the Zuidplein Mall but there you can find the Saturn store, which offers a similar range of products like the Media Markt. Yet there is another Media Markt located in the South at Rotterdam at the Beijerlandselaan near the Feyenoord stadium. This one is slightly smaller than the stores in city center and the Alexandrium.

Three Mediamarkt Stores in Rotterdam
There are three Mediamarkt Electronics Stores in Rotterdam. One is located at the Alexandrium Mall, another in the city centre and a thrird in the South of Rotterdam.

Getting to Mediamarkt Alexandrium by car
The address for car navigation is Watermanweg 231 in Rotterdam. Alexandrium is easily accessible via motorway A20 (Rotterdam - Utrecht), take exit 16 Prins Alexander and follow directions towards Alexandrium.

Parking at Mediamarkt Alexandrium
There are three indoor parking lots. Parking rates are fair compared to parking in the city centre, but generally slightly more expensive on Fridays and Saturdays. Payment is available both in cash and with credit card or chipcard. Most visitors want to park their car next door, which causes long queues. During the weekend you can avoid annoying waiting times by parking your car on the outdoors parking lot in front of the Coca Cola office. On weekdays this parking is not accessible.

Getting to Mediamarkt Alexandrium by public transport
By train, stop at Railway station Rotterdam Alexander. Getting there by metro is also easy: stop at Alexander and you are at the Megastores after a 2 minute walk.

Getting to Mediamarkt Rotterdam City Centre
Mediamarkt downtown is located at Binnenwegplein. Get there by taking the metro and stop at Beurs. Plan your trip with the public transport planning site www.9292.nl. It's free of charge. To travel by public transport in Rotterdam you must purchase a travel chip card first. You can park in the Westblaak or Bijenkorf Public Parking or in the surrounding streets, but you'll have to pay to park in Rotterdam city centre by chipcard or credit card.

Getting to Mediamarkt Rotterdam South
Mediamarkt Rotterdam South is located at Beijerlandselaan. Get there by taking tram line 20 direction Lombardijen and stop at Beijerlandselaan. You can pay to park in the surrounding streets.
