Plaswijckpark Rotterdam
The Plaswijck park is a small theme park for families with young children (age 2 till 13). You can find many fun attractions and a small zoo in this park. In the zoo you can see animals from all over the world like wild swines, wild cats, red deers, parrots, monkeys, alpacas and pampa hares. There’s a petting area with chickens, goats and other animals. You can buy food and feed them!
Children can enjoy one of the biggest traffic playgrounds of the Netherlands where they can drive mini scooters and bicycle cars. They can learn about the traffic rules with crossings, real traffic lights, roundabouts and a railway crossing.
And there’s more fun for children! They can enjoy water fun attractions in the harbour playground, so make sure you bring their swimsuits! Or they can swing like a monkey through the jungle in the monkey playground. There’s even a very big playground of 10,000 square meters with slides, a historic carrousel, a fast cable way, pedalos, a labyrinth and a climb mountain. They can spent hours in this fantastic playground! While the kids are playing the parents can relax and have something to eat or drink at the tea-house from where they can watch the children.
If you want to relax a bit between all the playing you can enjoy the boat tour and view the beautiful islands and houses located at the lake next to the park. Or you could have a ride through the park with the slow train!

DIRECTIONS Plaswijckpark Rotterdam
Plaswijckpark is located in the North of Rotterdam at the Ringdijk. You can easily get there by taking tram 25 to Schiebroek and get out at stop Meidoornweide. From there it's a short walk.
If you come by car you can park your car for free on a small parking opposite to the Plaswijck park. Just follow the signs to get there. Since the parking is small it might be full and in that case you can park your car in one of the streets for free.
