Tallest residential tower
The New Orleans skyscraper at Wilheminapier is de tallest residential tower in the Netherlands with a height of 160 meters. It's just a little lower than the Maas Tower office building (165 meters), but taller than the Montevideo residential tower (140 m)next door.
Fitted with modern conveniences
The New Orleans residential tower was designed by the Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza and has got 45 floors containing apartments, offices and an underground parking for residents. In addition there's a private health club with a pool, a gym and a sauna. The health club is located on the fourth floor and spoils its residents with a beautiful sun deck. At the ground floor you can find the movie theatre LantarenVenster with five small screens, a smalll theatre and a restaurant.
VIP Guestrooms in New Orleans Rotterdam
The New Orleans residents can book one of the guest rooms located within the tower. These guest rooms are fully equipped luxury apartments with a kitchen and bathroom. Both residents and guests can enjoy their privacy using these guest rooms. Too bad for outsiders: these guest rooms can only be booked by the New Orleans tower residents!

Public transport to New Orleans Rotterdam
The New Orleans residential tower is located on Wilhelminapier at Otto Reuchlinweg near the Erasmus Bridge and above the LantarenVenster Theatre. From Rotterdam Central Station, get there by metro (stop Wilhelminaplein) or tram 20 or 25 and walk from there. Travel in style by Watertaxi, which stops just in front of Hotel New York. Plan your trip at www.9292.nl. It's free of charge. To travel by public transport in Rotterdam you must purchase a travel chip card first.
Parking near New Orleans Rotterdam
Pay to park your car in the World Port Center parking, in the Q-Park underneath the Maas Tower, or in the surrounding streets, but you'll have to pay to park within Rotterdam city centre until 11 pm by EC card or creditcard. You can also get there by crossing the brand new Rijnhavenbrug pedestrian bridge from Katendrecht, the peninsula where museum steamer ss Rotterdam is moored.
