Top Class baseball in The Netherlands

The World Port Tournament is a major international baseball tournament between four of of the best national baseball teams in the world! During the seven days of qualification, your favourite team plays against each opponent twice. On Sunday, the big final takes place. During the tournament at the Neptunus Stadium in Rotterdam all 5000 seats are expected to be sold out every night, so buy your ticket early!

Great teams at the Rotterdam Baseball Tournament

The Rotterdam baseball tournament has been organized since 1985 and some of the best teams in the world have played at this tournament, such as the Dutch national team, Canada, Italy, Baltimore, Kobe, Dallas, Osaka, San Diego, Chinese Tapei, Japan and the USA. The nearly unbeatable Cuban team has won the last WPT editions. Also individual awards can be earned for players with special achievements, such as Best Pitcher, Best Hitter, Homerun King, Most Valuable Player and Best Rookie.

The World Port Tournament takes place at the 'Neptunus Family Stadium', which is located at Abraham van Stolkweg 31, just outside Rotterdam city centre. From Rotterdam Central Station, get there by bus line 38 direction Schiedam and stop at Beukelsweg. For the timetable, refer to the website www.9292.nl. To travel by public transport in Rotterdam, you need to purchase a Travel Chipcard first.

WPT Rotterdam by car

There's limited parking space next door and you must pay to park. If the Neptunus parking lot is full, you will be diverted to park your car in walking distance at the Sparta Soccer Stadium.
