Popular outdoor eating areas in Rotterdam
Most restaurants with terrace are located at Stadhuisplein (the square facing Rotterdam City Hall) and within the Old Harbour. Stadhuisplein is always very crowded with tourists due to its central location. In summer there's always a party going on, usually with loud beats until early in the early morning at the Apres Skihut and Get Back, all serving dinner on their outdoor terraces. The nostalgic Old Harbour is a popular nightlife area as well with many outdoor eating areas, usually visited by students. The terraces here are always crowded, so have dinner or a drink with a nice view at the historic ships and the Cube Houses.
