Pathé Schouwburgplein is a seven-screen cinema in the middle of city center. You just can’t miss the huge cube-shaped building at the Schouwburgplein. The location of the cinema is great because the cinema is close to all the shops, restaurants, bars and clubs in city center. So before or after the movie there are lots of places to enjoy a drink!

Biggest screen in the Netherlands
Within the cinema there are seven screens ranging from 200 to 760 seats. The main screen is the biggest cinema screen in the Netherlands! For most movies there’s a numbered seating which means the best seats are sold first. For some movies there’s a free seating.

Sneak preview
The cinema shows all popular movies so you don’t have to miss the latest movies coming straight from Hollywood and other places. On Tuesdays you can enjoy a sneak preview, which gives you the chance to see a movie before it’s broadly released. All movies from abroad are shown in their original language with subtitles so there's no need to learn Dutch for tourists!

Snacks
All movies are shown without breaks so you might want to buy some drinks and popcorn before the movie starts. There’s a counter inside the cinema where you can buy all kinds of things like candy, potato chips, popcorn, drinks, ice creams and other snacks.

Tickets
Tickets can be bought at the online and at the sales offices at the cinema. When you but the tickets online you get a discount and there also special discounts on Tuesdays and mornings. The cinema gets very crowded during weekends, so you need you need to buy your tickets in advance or make a reservation to make sure that you’ve got a seat!
