The shopping area extends from Rotterdam Central Station to Blaak with department stores such as Bijenkorf and Vroom & Dreesmann, a huge Media Markt electronics store and a lot of fashion shops, shoe shops, fashion boutiques, music and sports shops. Shopping in Rotterdam Alexandrium or Zuidplein Mall
On a rainy day indoor shopping in the Alexandrium mall or the Zuidplein mall is a good alternative. In the huge Alexandrium mall you can find many nice shops, a number of mega-stores and a home decoration area. Within the adjacent CapelleXL shopping area you can find many furniture stores as well.
