Although Delft is best known for its exquisite Delftware (the typical Delft Blue pottery) and the House of the Dutch royal family, there are many other historical sites of great interest to visit within the inner city walls. The Legermuseum (Military Museum) leads visitors through Dutch military history dating from the Prehistoric Age to Modern Times.
